The tanning process of our leathers starts with the hair removal and degreasing of the hides. Prime Classic Design only uses superior-quality top-grain hides. The top-grain layer is the upper skin that makes the leather strong and elastic. The visible structure of the grain in this top grain gives the leather its natural character. The top-grain layer is of inferior quality. After tanning, the leather is flattened, embossed and sprayed with a pigment.
It is imperative to be cautious while you clean a leather sofa. You may consider leather as a durable material, but keep in mind it is porous. Hence the only way you can clean leather furniture is by using a mild cleaner that is made at home or by purchasing a good leather cleaner.
