Kiln-drying removes the moisture before the craftsmen begin to shape the frame, ensuring that the sofa will maintain its shape and stability over the long term. Quality frame construction also includes glued, dowelled and screwed joints.

The heat from our bodies and the sun will cause the leather to loosen and warp due to the moisture. The leather will then dry in the shape that you leave them in. As such, it is imperative that you reshape and/or maintain the shape of your leather by cleaning it.
Regularly vacuum your leather furniture with an upholstery attachment to remove dust. To minimize fading, place leather furniture where it won't be exposed to direct sunlight. Regularly remove the zippered casings from the seat and back cushions to fluff and rotate the cushion inside. This ensures even wear and helps your cushions last longer. We recommend specific cleaning and conditioning products based on leather type: ours is top grain. Otherwise, confirm which type of leather you purchased before cleaning or conditioning.
