Our top grain leather is the most durable type and is used in the majority of furniture upholstery. The durability is provided by a polymer surface coating, which contains pigments. With modern technology, the coating can be finished to be embossed with natural-looking grains. The surface coating allows greater resistance to soiling, scuffing, and fading.
To clean, and dust, use a damp, soft cloth. Clean regularly, especially if in warm, humid weather. Soak up any liquids immediately with a clean, white cloth. Using a clean, white cloth lightly dampened with distilled water, gently dab away any crumbs or residue. Avoid harsh scrubbing. Dry with a clean, white cloth. Repeat if necessary. Keep in mind that stains on top grain leathers will eventually dissipate into the grain structure and lessen in appearance over time.
